Advocating for Public Transit Enhancements in the 2024 City Budget

Today, the City Council will vote on the 2024 budget. This morning, I attended a rally at City Hall, calling on councilors to support the budget in order to fulfill Mayor Chow’s promises to public transit users. This includes freezing transit fares, building a Scarborough busway, and restoring public transit services to pre-pandemic levels. 今日，多倫多市議會將投票表決財政預算案。早上，我參加市政廳外集會，呼籲議員支持預算案，以實現鄒市長對公共交通使用者之承諾，包括凍結交通票價、劃設更多巴士專用綫，以及將公共交通服務回復至疫情前水平。
